True Graphix Background

Hello, My name is Adam Davis, the founder of True Graphix Design Company. Here is a little insite of how True Graphix came to be.

Since I was young, the study of the internet and design has been my passion. I grew up on a computer. I was intrigued by its possibilities. I was only using a dial-up 56k connection and the different webpages took a lifetime to load but still I sat there and waited. I knew no better, I expected it to run at that speed. Being so fascinated, I dug deeper into the internet world and found answers to how things worked. I studied how things looked, how they were easy to read, and why people created things to look the way they did. I found that they made it appear that way, to communicate. The internet is a world wide portal of communication. Different designs can be targeted to different audiences. It is all in who the creator is trying to speak to.

The Start

In 2000, I started creating my own designs and webpages for my own purposes. I started experiencing with HTML and CSS. I also started using Adobe Photoshop to create different imagery. I knew a few people online starting businesses so they always needed help with graphics. I guess having a taste in graphic design and how things look; I decided to give my advice. Soon after that I was making advertisements for website owners. I also was involved in different advertising campaigns.

High School

In 2003, I helped along with other classmates to develop our website for my high school, Fort White High School (FWHS). The class was an honors course during my senior year. We used Macromedia Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Image Ready in the process. Another Student and I made a 3D tour of the high school by taking imagery from all around the campus. Since being in a small town in Fort White, FL, I think the creation of the website brought more attention to the school. The website was considered a success.

College & Present

In 2004, I attended Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville, FL. My major was Graphic Design. I had the pleasure of working with flash and other design programs. I also enjoyed working with a team of students who helped tweak every design to its full potential. I graduated with my A.S. Degree in July, 2006. I started my company, True Graphix, after graduating from college. I am a freelance designer. I mainly focus on web design & developing, branding, flash, and also some print work. I am currently working for Signsite.com as an online graphic designer & web developer. If you need assistance with a design, please don't hesitate to contact me.
